Baruntse Expedition - 40 Days
Baruntse Expedition will be the exciting adventure for climbers wishing to submit the 7000m peak in a remote region of Nepal. Mt. Baruntse lies in the heart of Khumbu Region on the lap of Mt. Everest surrounded by popular peaks of the world such as Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Chamlang, Mt. Amadablam, and Mt. Mera peak etc. It is another attractive Mountain for climbing due to its location, classical symmetrical beauty and relatively accessible to climbers across a wide range of skills. Baruntse is symmetrical snow peak, has four ridges and four summits and is considered one of the most beautiful peaks in the Nepalese Himalaya.
Baruntse was one the early Himalayan peaks recognized by Edmund Hillary’s team for climbing east of Everest. Colin Todd and Geoff Harrow reached the summit in 1954 from the South-East Ridge. The peak itself commands a central position amongst some of the high peaks of the Himalaya. It is a spectacular and straightforward 7000m peak, with an optional ascent of Mera Peak with stunning views of Everest, Makalu, and Lhotse. It provides a good progression and an ideal objective for those who have previously climbed to around 6000m. It is objectively safe and offers a tremendously rewarding climb among the world’s highest peaks.The successful climb of Baruntse peak provides maximum chances of success to climbing Mt Everest as the trails and topography are similar each other.

Day 5 Morning fly to Lukla trek to Chutok. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 6 Trek to Pangkongma. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 7 Trek to Kurke. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 8 Trek to Thuli Kharka. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 9 Trek to Khothey. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 10 Trek to Tangnag. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 11 Acclimatization and Rest day at Tangnag. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 12 Trek to Khare. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 13 Trek to Mera La and Base Camp. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 14 Climb Base Camp to High Camp. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 15 Summit to Mera peak and climb back to Mera peak base camp. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 16 Trek to Khare. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 17 Trek to Baruntse base Camp. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 18 Rest and acclimatization day in base camp. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 19-31 Climbing Period
Day 32 Rest and cleanliness programme in Baruntse base camp. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 33 Trek back to Seto Pokhari camp. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 34 Trek to Mera Peak Base Camp. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 35 Trek to Khothey. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 36 Trek to Thuli Kharka. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 37 Trek to Lukla. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 38 Morning Fly back to Kathmandu 35 minutes. Overnight at hotel.
Day 39 Leisure day in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 40 Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure.
